Koutalaki is a truly unique area in the tourist resort of Levi in the Finnish Lapland. The plan is to develop Koutalaki into a leisure and recreation centre yet to be seen anywhere in the world. Once completed it will become an international destination inspired by the local nature, changing seasons and cultural values of the area. The new resort will be a true landmark for tourism increasing the international and national appeal of Levi and the whole Lapland region.

The plan of "Koutalaki Ski Village" consists of building approximately 500 different sized accommodation units varying in size from one room apartments to large luxury villas. They will be accompanied with a string of services including different restaurants, a spa and a market square. When Koutalaki has been completed it will form a village of its own -the upper Levi - with an estimate of 3.000 beds with all different services at hand that might be needed on a trip to Levi.

Currently there are already Hotel Levi Panorama and Congress Center Levi Summit that are in operation.
